The Loremaster Takes on Lore

Somehow, how I can only imagine, I have in the process of my study of Lore become something of a magnet for minutiae. I am now being called upon to share some of my reflections on the world and all that is in it. This is inordinately difficult for me. I have been for some years a historian but I have not been a critic. However, historian was hardly my first profession and critic will likely not be my last. Therefore I shall endeavor to spread an iota of my vast experience with the masses. 

 

Do not expect me to hold anything back. No bovine is sacred. I shall analyze lore, and Lore for that matter, with scathing and biting acumen. As goes the popular Terran saying The prepubescent goat gauntlets have been disrobed. I have often wondered why young goats wear gauntlets to begin with. Terra is however a wondrous and strange place and its customs are beyond the norm. If their armor crafters wish to spend their time crafting gauntlets for young goats I can only laud their ingenuity even while lamenting their vacuousity. 

 

Now then, where can we start in our analysis of all things Lorian? What area of Lorian life is completely and throughly in need of a scathing expose? 

 

I cannot begin to imagine. Seeing as this is the first issue I really have gotten no guidance on how to plague you with my biting wit. Seeing as this is the case I will open one of my random books and give you a submission therefrom: 

 

 

Polynesian Chicken 

 

 

2 1/2 pounds meaty chicken pieces, skinned 

 

1 (14 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained 

 

1 small jar peach or apricot preserves 

 

1 teaspoon ground clove 

 

 

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a rectangular baking pan with vegetable oil cooking spray. Arrange the chicken pieces in the pan and spray them lightly. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken pieces and bake for an additional 15 or 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain off the pan juices. 

 

Mix the pineapple with the peach preserves, stir in cloves. Pour over the drained chicken and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serve over rice and garnish with maraschino cherries. 

 

Serves 4.
